The global gambling industry gathered in London last week to network, broker deals and reflect upon the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead for 2020 and beyond.
The CasinoCoin team was on the ground at the conference
Cammegh on display
It was fantastic to see the Cammegh roulette wheel powered by the CasinoCoin blockchain on display at the Cammegh stand during the show. People were able to see games results being recorded on the ledger in real-time. Cammegh is the first live casino manufacturer in the world to be doing this.
We have been working on the product closely with the Cammegh team for the past year, so it was hugely exciting to see the wheel in action and attracting significant interest from attendees.
Community meet-up
The day before ICE, we hosted a CasinoCoin meet-up at London’s Grosvenor Victoria Casino.
The team had the opportunity to speak at length with the community across a range of topics. We’d like to thank all those who attended, particularly those who travelled especially for the occasion.
Breaking the ICE
On the conference floor, it was a hugely encouraging show for the CasinoCoin team. As well as catching up with existing partners, we also had the opportunity to engage with parties from across the industry. We are hopeful that several of these discussions will progress into something more over the coming weeks.
Equally encouraging was the general mood around crypto projects at ICE this year. The gaming sector has often been somewhat skeptical of blockchain technology, but this year there was a greater level of both enthusiasm and understanding than ever before.
The work we have put in over the past few years uniquely positions us to take full advantage of this.
